Sun Path: an interactive 3D sun path dome for Earth Science

Set a latitude from the North Pole to the South Pole and any date of the year, then watch the sun's apparent path across a 3D sky dome. Play the day to see sunrise, solar noon and sunset, and watch a stick's shadow change length and direction.

Live readouts show the sun's altitude and azimuth, the noon sun altitude, sunrise and sunset times and directions, the length of daylight, and shadow length. A chart shows day length through the year.
